Move over copper, this year it’s time to go for gold! Brass finishes in the kitchen and bathroom bring a sense of luxury and grandeur to your space, whether it be a showerhead, sink or tap. Choose gold metallic accents to warm up your kitchen or bathroom and to give it that 2020 feel.
Dark glamour

Dark spaces on the whole are a huge trend for 2020. But, it’s important to make it feel less dingy and more glamorous by incorporating luxe finishes and a pop of colour. In the bathroom, black or charcoal grey walls and tiles would work perfectly and in the kitchen consider dark cabinets or a granite worktop for that dark glamorous look.

Rather than opting for plain metro tiles that are laid horizontally, mix it up and place them vertically and choose a colour that contrasts either with your kitchen cabinets, or bathroom furniture.

Wallpaper is normally a popular choice for bedrooms or living rooms, however its made its way into the rest of the home for 2020. Wallpaper is a great way of expressing your personal style and adding pattern to a space, specifically loud and over the top designs.

Wellbeing in the home and reflecting this through our interior choices is a trend that keeps popping up for 2020. A wellness-focused space is created by making mindful choices, which have the effect of calm and relaxation. A neutral colour palette with tactile textures are key factors as well as the space being totally decluttered.
