About the collection

‘My aim was to give this collection a hand-painted and retro feel, a more elevated look than your run-of-the-mill Jubilee products,’ says Talking Tables designer Melanie Watt.

‘Although the items are paper, I wanted to give the impression of texture rather than being flat. I looked at original 1950s Coronation items, like tea towels for inspiration, then added an element of humour to bring it up to date and provide a talking point for the table.’

The Right Royal Spectacle collection includes bunting, a tablecloth, plates, cups and napkins, there’s even a cake stand and toppers for your Victoria sponge.
