Easter is approaching thick and fast.

For many of us, the bunny-loving celebration means a weekend of hosting family, friends and neighbours for gatherings.

Enter: Easter tablescaping.

Easter is fast becoming the second Christmas, with shops offering more and more decorations for the home and the day itself.

As a result, expectations are high and the hosts are often keen to deliver a fantastic Easter celebration.

Thankfully, we’re here to help with plenty of Easter tablescape ideas to impress – both DIY and ready-to-go – so there’s something for everyone.

Prepare to be inspired, Easter style…

1. Get outside

With the Easter long weekend being a bit later this year, we’re counting on the weather making it easier to bring the celebrations outside.

Being outside means you can be a bit flexible with your schemes, and your colour scheme doesn’t have to suit your kitchen or dining room.

Go bold and bright with your colours and accessories, and the fun in your Easter tablescape will likely make your occasion the same way.

We love this gorgeous set up from Lights4fun, it’s packed full of stylish Easter accessories while showcasing many of the spring tablescaping trends, too. (Plus, there’s currently an Easter sale on…)

2. Up your decorating game

At Easter, just like at Christmas, it’s a chance to show off our finest tableware and styling accessories.

Therefore, it’s best to make sure you have plenty of seasonal bits on offer to show off.

The new Disney Bambi range available at Dunelm is stunning and just perfect for spring and Easter tablescapes.

It’s cute but with a minimalistic flare that means it will suit any colour scheme, and can be used at other times of the year, too.

  • Disney Bambi Table Runner, from £13 from Dunelm – buy here

3. Go crackers for Easter

Yes you’ve seen that right, crackers are no longer just for Christmas.

Add some Easter ‘egg-stravangance’ into your celebrations with these very extra Easter crackers.

The cute designs are perfect if you have little ones visiting, and we’re sure adult guests will get a kick out of them, too.

They’ll be an extra-special touch to any Easter tablescape.

  • Spring Bunny Easter crackers 6 pack, £18 from Talking Tables – buy here

4. Say yes to the pink

Pastels have always been associated with spring styling, but this year we’re keen on one particular pastel – pink of course!

This is partly down to Stacey Solomon’s stunning new Easter collection with George at Asda, which is packed full of gorgeous items to up your décor game.

This pink tablescape is one of our firm favourites though, packed full of accessories to set your scheme apart.

5. Cater for the kiddies

Sure, Easter is a Christian holiday, a chance to catch up with friends and family, a four day weekend… but it’s also largely for the children.

Cater for the younger guests with the gorgeous Easter range and B&M.

There are plenty of craft bits, tablecloths and novelty signs that they will love. As well as plenty of accessories for an egg hunt, should you choose to partake!

They’ve effectively hit the mark between keeping it stylish, but also kid friendly, and we’ll definitely be including some of their offerings in our own set ups.

  • Large Easter Candle, £5
  • Easter Sign, £3.50
  • Easter Tablecloth, £2.50
  • 20pk Easter Round Paper Plates, £2
  • All available in B&M stores, find your local one here

6. Go big on floral centrepieces

Spring is all about florals, and with unreal tablescapes being a huge 2025 trend according to Pinterest, we’re going hard or we’re going home.

This gorgeous set up from Gisela Graham perfectly encompasses having a stunning centrepiece, but without taking too much away from the rest of the set up.

It’s chaotic but beautiful, and almost leans towards the dopamine décor trend in the variety of colours and patterns – it works, and we’re obsessed!

  • Easter tableware available from Gisela Graham, prices start at £4.99 – browse the range

7. Embrace the season

When we think of spring, we generally think of Daffodils, bright blues, greens and yellows, baby lambs and bunny rabbits.

Keep your Easter tablescape simple by focussing on that. It can still be stylish and wow your guests, but it keeps the seasonal touch.

We love the scatterings of Daffodil bunches as pops of colour in this set up, and the gorgeous natural lighting helps, too.

When is Easter in 2025?

Easter Sunday in 2025 falls on the 20 April, with Good Friday being on the 18 April, Easter Saturday on 19 April and Easter Monday on 21 April.

It changes every year but it typically falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the Spring Equinox.

Lent ends at Easter weekend after running for six weeks since Ash Wednesday, which was 5 March this year.
