Nadia’s eclectic home is a real treasure trove which uses black as a dark and moody backdrop. Her bedroom boasts painted black walls and an amazing jungle-themed wall mural that sets off the entire room. She has added pops of colour with her choice of rug and a vibrant pink ‘Ooh la la!’ neon sign.

Believe it or not, Pati’s beautifully black home is a rented property, which proves you can add buckets of personality while keeping the landlord on side. Her living room is now iconic in the Instagram world, specifically her eclectic gallery wall, which is complemented by her love of the colour black and greenery. We love her choice of black frames that blend in with her painted walls.

Black definitely lends itself to a more maximalist interior style, however Kristine proves that it can be pared back and sophisticated. She has cleverly offset her black living space with dark teal to make her home feel less stark. She has incorporated brass accents to add a touch of luxury, too.

Black bathrooms, specifically black fittings and fixtures are a massive trend for 2020. Laura has added a rustic edge to her monochrome bathroom with a large wooden panel, which is set behind her sink and vanity area. She has also chosen black patterned floor tiles to complement the black shower enclosure, which is effortlessly chic!

Sophie’s new kitchen extension definitely proves that black and pink are a winning combination. She has broken up her black shaker units with a white quartz worktop and a bold wallpaper by Divine Savages. Using pink in her kitchen scheme has softened the overall look and makes it feel super modern.
