If you’ve chosen to create a botanical, tropical look in your home, the good news is that it’s a scheme that’s still looking to be a big trend for 2020.
However, if you want to give your design a new twist for the coming year, we’ve picked out some of the new and exciting ways the tropical trend is heading to the high street for spring.

We’ve spotted a few hand-painted motifs for the new season, especially on decorative, embellished cabinets. The Iro cabinet, from Oliver Bonas, has been given a tropical makeover for the new year, and will be available in store and online from January.

While bold tropical wallpaper has been around for a few years, botanical themed tiles are a growing trend. These Jungle tiles from Ca’Pietra feature three unique designs, and can be orientated however you please for use on floors and walls. We love this striking statement shower wall.
Monochrome

If you love the idea of the tropical look, but not the colour palette, this idea for a monochrome scheme from Next is still full of character. With the vintage-style illustration, the black frame bed and gold Milo monkey lamp give this look and almost Art Deco feel.

The tropical trend has gone beyond small accessories, and with botanical print fabrics you can now have a jungle-themed accent chair, sofa or even bed head. These Heather dining chairs in tropical print from Cult Furniture make an excellent statement around a dining table.

Botanical doesn’t have to mean green! We love this new season collection from M&S in on-trend red tones. We’re also seeing dried natural grasses become a popular styling choice, giving a soft neutral edge to your room’s design.
