The deal

German-manufactured Pronorm is known for high-end, contemporary kitchen design, and buying an ex-display kitchen from the Used Kitchen Company not only saves you thousands, it’s also a very sustainable way to get a new kitchen.

Not only are you saving ex-display units from going to landfill, every re-used kitchen saves on average 5,000 kgs of carbon. That essentially means a family of four can live carbon-neutrally for a year.

This particular ex-display Pronorm kitchen from the X-Line and Proline ranges features an eye-catching contemporary design. Key features include a stylish pocket-door unit that can be used as a drinks area or breakfast nook, plus a striking island with metallic gold lacquer panels, push-to-open gold drawers and dark Sherwood wood laminate. The kitchen cabinets are still in stock, should you wish to add additional units, although the metallic gold has been discontinued.

It also comes with NEFF appliances, including a fridge, freezer, combi microwave oven, warming drawer, Variostream Slide and Hide Oven, and dishwasher, as well as a Quooker Fusion Square Black boiling water tap and a Blanco Etagon Silgranit sink.

How does Used Kitchen Exchange work?

The discount kitchen marketplace offers Approved Used and Ex-display kitchens for sale at affordable prices. Shop everything from complete kitchens starting from £1,500, to designer kitchens at drastically reduced prices.

Used Kitchen Exchange advertises ex-display kitchens on behalf of showrooms across the UK. Usually, these kitchens have been designed and fitted without the need to accommodate windows, pillars and other unique architectural features. Shop for an ex-display kitchen that more-or-less fits your current space to get the best deal. But most displays are current stock and can be added to with additional units. The showroom may even be able to offer a design service.

When it comes to Approved Used, UKE inspects each kitchen in person before listing them online alongside an honest reflection of its condition, and a quality rating from Very Good to Fair. Most kitchen units are built to standard modular sizes, but it’s a good idea to buy a used kitchen 10% to 20% larger than you need so you have a variety of layout options.
